Training „ab initio“ for an airline transport pilot license (ATPL)

The actual cost for training varies, depending on the aircraft chosen and the amount of training hours you require.

Duration
The average duration of training is approximately 18 to 24 months. The most relevant factor is whether a student is training only in his or her spare time or devotes his or her entire time to becoming a pilot.
Prerequisites
To start your training you have to be at least 16 years (for the private pilot license) or 18 years (for the commercial pilot license) of age and pass a medical examination with a certified aeromedical centre or aeromedical examiner.
For the commercial pilot license training you have to provide a high school degree or equivalent, otherwise we will conduct an internal knowledge test to substitute the high school degree.

can apply as a pilot with any air taxi operator or commercial airline to start your company- and type-specific training.
